Perhaps the most logical place to start is to visit the configuration area for your Community Builder system. This will allow you to set many global preferences and is important since these will layout the overall way your system will operate.
Take time here, and review each area giving careful thought to how you want you system to work. Each field has a nice explanation to the right of it to guide you.
